The COALA 1st Webinar will address above questions and present some benefits of application of Digital Intelligent Assistants in the manufacturing. COALA Partner from Whirlpool, Enrica Bosani, will share her experiences and their challenges in their Quality Control process as well as expectations from the COALA cognitive assistance solution.

In this webinar, we will also present a demo on application of the COALA Digital Intelligent Assistant in the quality testing of white goods case as well as its one of main features, the initial prototype of Augmented Manufacturing Analytics. This feature aims to augment how people explore and analyze data through automatisation of aspects such as data science, machine learning and AI.

Besides that, we will give you an insight on the first prototype of COALA’s Quality Analytics Service, which allows the workers to perform data analytics, risk assessment predictive quality anaylitcs and quality control recommendations.

The webinar is free of charge, dedicated to people who want to learn and see a concrete implementation of the AI assistance technology in a real business case. Main Speakers

Stefan Wellsandt works as a research scientist for the Institute for Production and Logistics (BIBA) in Bremen, Germany. He has ten years of experience in international, collaborative research on smart cities, the Internet of Things, product development, and data quality management. Since 2020, Stefan works on conversational AI in Manufacturing. He coordinates the COALA project. Stefan authored more than 30 academic publications and is an enthusiast of the ethical use of AI.

Enrica Bosani is Manufacturing R&D Project Manager at Whirlpool Corporation and focuses and the topics Industry 4.0 and Human-Machine-Interaction. With several years in the industry she also has gained an extensive knowledge in Change and Development Management.

Alexandros Bousdekis is a senior researcher at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS). His research interests include: Industry 4.0, intelligent systems, management of information systems, predictive & prescriptive analytics, real-time decision making, and proactive and event-driven computing. He has been working in several R&D projects and published more than 30 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

Mina Foosherian is a research associate at BIBA. She has a master’s degree in Media Informatics from the University of Bremen. In the COALA project, she is responsible for designing and developing user interactions via natural language with the Digital Intelligent Assistant.
